The Preschool Place and Kindergarten
The Preschool Place and Kindergarten provides a safe, developmentally appropriate, nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth, as well as a positive self image and a love of learning.
We've had some excellent mystery readers visit the school this month to read to the classes. Today, one of the special guests was Theo, the golden retriever! Theo "read" to the students (with a little help from Mr. and Mrs. Sicat) and brought joy to our hallways.
In Honor of Women's History Month, Ms. Baugh's class welcomed Nicole Giacopelli, owner of Coco Dance Kids LLC to come and speak. Nicole founded her company through her passion for teaching and dance. She spoke with the children about their hobbies and what it takes to be a great leader. Next, she led students in several fun dances - including the crowd favorite "I am a robot." Nicole left students with her favorite quote from her father, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” Nicole truly loves her work inspiring and building confidence in young children through dance.
