The Preschool Place and Kindergarten
The Preschool Place and Kindergarten provides a safe, developmentally appropriate, nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth, as well as a positive self image and a love of learning.
We are excited to announce that registration is now open for our fall Pathway to Preschool classes. This program is thoughtfully designed for children aged 18 to 36 months to explore early learning in a nurturing environment. With a focus on guided play, crafts, story time, and sensory activities, children will develop independence while being supported by a trusted adult and our professional staff. Classes are available once a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays, with limited class sizes to ensure personalized attention. To cap off our “Animal Antics” week at camp, Eyes of the Wild came and gave a presentation on different animal species and the importance of conservation. Campers had a chance to pet a bearded dragon, a chinchilla, and a ferret. From listening to animal stories, to designing yummy snacks, to creating beautiful paper crafts, the children thoroughly enjoyed a wild and wonderful week at PSP&K!
What a wonderful first week of camp! Our theme this week was “Stars and Stripes,” and campers enjoyed making special crafts, creating delicious treats, and celebrating America ahead of our country’s 250th birthday. Today, we enjoyed a special magic show featuring Patriotic Pete from RockinPartyMagic. It was truly a crowd pleaser! We are so happy to spend this time meeting new friends and enjoying summer fun at The Preschool Place & Kindergarten!
