The Preschool Place and Kindergarten
The Preschool Place and Kindergarten provides a safe, developmentally appropriate, nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth, as well as a positive self image and a love of learning.
As we close out Teacher Appreciation week, we would like to express our gratitude to those who went above and beyond to make our teachers feel loved and appreciated.
On Friday, our Heritage Street students “traveled” to Israel! They had a chance to visit an Israeli jewelry store to learn about symbols like hamsa or the Star of David, visit a school where they practiced forming Hebrew letters using Play-Doh, and a zoo where they learned the names of animals in Hebrew. The highlight was a visit to a bakery where they could sample delicious Israeli treats.
Today we kick-off our annual Teacher Appreciation Week at PSPK. This is a time when we recognize and honor our wonderful teachers. This year’s theme is “Growing Together”, celebrating the growth that teachers facilitate in their students, the growth and collaboration of our teaching teams, and the growth of our school community in support of our mission to encourage a lifetime love of learning in our young students. Many thanks to everyone who took the time to make our teachers smile today! We look forward to a fantastic week.
